Marc's Christmas Wish List 2006
Marc will love whatever you give him, but here are some suggestions from his parents:
Board games:
Target has classic versions of Chutes and Ladders and Candyland
(ie, the original artwork). I can't find them on the Target website,
though, but here's a link to the same product from another site:
http://www.gamesbyjames.com/browse.cfm/4,2430.html
.
A nice Memory game (ie, good illustrations)- this is definitely
something he's ready for, though.
Other good toddler/preschooler games (Hi-ho cherry-o, I don't
know. Chutes and Ladders, Candyland and Memory are really the only ones
I remembers).
Doctor kit: Marc decided to start playing doctor yesterday- he had to
look in both Dave and my ears using the little finger light toy that
Dave and Kathy sent for Halloween.
Pretend clothes: fireman, policeman, astronaut, whatever.
Toddler in-line skates: I found a pair at Target..I think it was by
Little Tikes, but now I'm not sure. They start as 1 wheel in the front,
2 in the back, more like roller skates, but then can be converted into
regular inline skates. Marc did so well at the ice skating at Phillips
that I think he'd really like those.
Train tracks, pieces: things like switches, crossings, turntables. He
has a lot of curves and straight pieces, but not a lot of junctions.

If you find any good deals on buildings, those are good, too. But they
tend to be very expensive.

A bat and ball (wiffle or those soft bats)/
Art supplies (other than crayons; finger paints, paint brushes, coloring books, play-do, etc.)
The ultra-expensive super nice Georgia Tech Toy Box! Wishful thinking :)
If you get clothes, they should be at least 2T. 3T is still very big on
him, but may be good for summer.
Items from older lists (check with Cath and see if he already has them)
Puppets, both regular and finger
Rocking Horse: Here are a couple we found that we liked:
Radio Flyer at Target.com (check for coupons/free shipping)
Palomino Rocking Horse at Back to Basics Toys (check for coupons at dealcatcher.com, other sites)
Books (Check Catherine's Wish List at Amazon.com- it should be obvious which books are for Marc :) ) Books are just about Marc’s favorite thing in the world, after his Matchbox bus.
Toy cars, planes, trucks
Fisher-Price Red Roarin' Fire Truck (I've only seen it at Toys R Us store)
Lacing Toy : Examples: City Blocks
Schylling Running dogs pull toy (I think this is so neat!)
